Firmware update instructions

The following files should be copied to an SD memory card:

boot.scr
sdfuse

After copying the files to the SD card insert it into the IP set-top box and reboot it. The display will stay black for about 2 minutes. Then the IP STB will start with the new firmware. After that disconnect the SD card from the IP set-top box to avoid the repeated flashing of the firmware at the next reboot.

Launching the NetUP.tv Lite application

  1. Connect the network cable to the Ethernet port and the TV screen into HDMI port and launch the IP set-top box. Wait until the Android is fully loaded.
  2. If the date and time settings were not loaded automatically from the DHCP setting, you need to set them manually.
  3. Launch the NetUP.tv Lite application. The menu with default channel list will appear. There are 3 default channels with the following multicast addresses:
    228.110.1.1:1234
    228.110.1.2:1234
    228.110.1.3:1234

To check the playback start sending multicast streams to these addresses.
