DVB to IP Gateways
NetUP's Streamer receives live satellite or terrestrial channels directly from antenna
(DVB-S, DVB-T, RF) or via cable, from a studio or from third-party receivers (in DVB-C or ASI).
Decoding is performed using conditional access modules (CAM's) such as Aston Viaccess (Irdeto)
Pro or PowerCAM Pro.
Analog TV or radio channels (A/V) are handled by real-time MPEG encoders built into the server (up to 12
analog feeds per device). Received streams are streamed in their native format (e.g. MPEG-2 Transport
Stream) as IP multicast.
Performance of one device depends on the configuration and can come up to 100 TV channels to maximum bandwidth
of 400 Mb/s.
NetUP's Streamer combines the functions of receivers, decoders, encoders, multiplexer, IP streamer, and
multicast router, all in a 4U rack-mount server with single management interface.
