15.06.2011 MultiChoice approved NetUP CAS/DRM
MultiChoice, a large South African satellite TV operator, approved the NetUP CAS as an industry-standard conditional access system. The CAS can be used for any implementation where MultiChoice channels are involved.
25.05.2011 NetUP IPTV 1.7 is released
The NetUP IPTV software v.1.7 features cluster management system, VoD content distribution mechanism, and third-level encryption within the conditional access system. User interface is enriched with the moving text announcements. More STB types are now supported, including Teletec MAG-200 (locally known as Intercross 510-91), Teletec MAG-250, Amino 129, and Amino 140. Billing system has been enabled to work in integration with e-commerce payment systems.
