Middleware & Interactive User Interface

NetUP's Middleware is the central part of IPTV Complex. It defines the user experience and ties subscribers' set-top boxes with the IPTV headend.

Middleware includes two parts - STB Client, a fast native application loaded into a set-top box, and Middleware server. The thick client approach allows to achieve a much better perfomance of the user interface then any JavaScript-based system can provide.

User interface of the Middleware system supports the following services:
• TV channels
• Radio
• Video on Demand
• Virtual Cinema (NVoD)
• Time-Shifted TV
• TV on Demand (pause, fast forward/rewind TV programs)
• Network Personal Video Recorder (NPVR)
• Electronic Program Guide, etc.

NetUP's Middleware supports world leading IP set-top boxes: Amino, Telergy, Hansun, D-Link, Teletec, etc.
