The menu with partially transparent background is superimposed over the playing content and can be enabled or disabled by pressing Menu button of the remote control. Interface screens are split into several sections. The tree menu placed at the left is shared by all screens.

The "Favorite" section allows quick access to favorite TV channels. Any available TV channel can be manually added to the favorites list. Channel order in the favorites list can be changed.
While browsing TV channels, brief electronic program guide (EPG) is shown at the bottom. Detailed EPG is available in the "EPG" section.
An alarm can be set for a TV program in EPG, so the system will automatically switch to the selected TV program when it starts. It is also possible to set a notification, so the system will show a popup message when the TV program starts.
While zapping TV channels in clear mode (i.e. menu is hidden), brief EPG is shown at the bottom of the TV screen.
It is also possible to subscribe to different TV packages, i.e. upgrade current package.
The list of available movies shows all ordered movies. Once ordered, a movie is available for 24 hours. To add a movie into the "available" list, it must be ordered from the catalog.
In the catalog the movies can be sorted by group, genre, and name. It is possible to create any custom groups. Searching movies by name is possible using virtual keyboard. Repeated strokes of the same digit key selects the letters from the column below it in a cyclic order, akin to typing on a cell phone.
It is possible to play, pause, fast forward, and rewind a movie. Fast forward and rewind speeds can be varied from 2x to 128x. When changing the play mode, a status bar appears on the screen displaying its present moment and total length.
If the movie has multiple audio tracks (e.g., different languages), it is possible to switch the audio track.
Movies can be also streamed with multicast upon a schedule. This service is referred to as near VoD (nVoD). When subscribed to a nVoD show, the system will automatically switch to the show when it starts.
Radio stations, like TV channels, can be added to the favorites list for quick access.
Personal account info shows access card details, account balance, the current tariff plan and other info.
It is possible to change subscription without having to call the IPTV service provider or visiting the office.
The "Financial report" section provides access to history of payments and expenses. Payments and charges information is supplied with details.
It is possible to protect paid content with a password, so ordering a movie will require a financial password. To protect adult content, parental password may be used. Also, a password for the lock screen can be set, so the IP set-top box will request a password when rebooted or locked manually.
System information screen lists the IP address, subnet mask, MAC address of the STB, IP address of the Middleware server, and the firmware revision number.
Styles screen contains the list of available custom user styles for STB interface. The styles can be easily created by editing style source files.
Multiple languages are supported. The user interface can be translated to any language by editing the language source file.
Scheduler screen displays the list of scheduled events, including switches, notifications, and alarm clocks. An alarm clock event may be set up on this very screen. At scheduled time it switches TV on at top volume.
Browsing Web sites is possible using virtual keyboard. URL's can be saved to favorites list.
